roll off the tongue? Maybe they should have named him Chris.
Fireball......There were thousands of people who were called Jesus in the first century.
The name was as common as muck.
Curtis........So what are you trying to say?
They all have different meanings, so what?

Emmanuel means God with us. Christ means the Anointed One. The Hebrew God is Jehovah. Jesus means Jehovah with us.

because that wasn't his name. Funny his parents didn't rename him after he didn't fit that prophecy.

Calling him Jesus Christ was purely to fulfill prophecy. No where does he say my name is Jesus Christ. The whole time he never told anyone his name. He even asked his 12 disciples who do people say that he is?
