the computer before buying? Ok here's the story. I was set on buying the Acer Laptop because it was only $399. I went to my local Best Buy but they sold out. I saw another laptop for the same price. It was a Compaq but the difference was that it only had a single processor whereas the Acer has a Duo Core Processor. But I decided I wanted the faster one. So I drove 45 minutes to the other Best Buy where they did have it in stock. But when the associate gave me the box, he said that it was "pre-cleaned" already and it was an extra $40 and they had no more of the ones that weren't pre-cleaned. He said it's worth it because it would make my laptop 33% faster. So I just said OK cuz I just wanted to get out of there and I drove all this way. But later after I got home I felt ripped off. Do you think it's worth $40 just to have them clean up the software? I heard that all they do is just delete some programs and I could even do that!

So did I get a good deal? Or should I have just gotten the Compaq(single processor) for the same price without the clean-up fee?
