No I think he was getting heckled while doing stand-up and he snapped. So he resorted to calling a spade a spade. It's somewhat understandable because blacks have specific behavior patterns that are irritating to non-blacks, so the temptation to dismiss them as just being N-words or acting in Typical N-Word Fashion is there.

I'll give you an example - say a large black woman is holding up the line in a grocery store for some not-quite understood reason and in response to a complaint, says "Shut up! A'in't nobody be feeding my kids in here." Then proceeds to whip out an EBT card to pay for her purchase. This is not only ironic, but it illustrates the stereotype that blacks can't connect the dots (low IQ).
