We complain about the government but what can we do?

Call me naive but we elect a governor who represents us right? he/she then votes on choosing a president? We complain about the government (president) but isn't our rep to blame? Can we actually fire someone? How good would the next guy be??? I wonder who are you voting for this next term and why? can we actually trust the next guy and if he or she don't work out fire them?????? I'm not really familiar with all this and I'm trying to understand, thanks
 
You have to understand the dynamics between Governmental and President. Unfortunately congress being the power of the Government has more power to overthrow a president then we do. Consider the President like the manager of Burger King, his boss is the one to admonish him NOT US...The only real way is for half of the US population to stop working for four weeks out of a year, so they can stop sucking out our hard earned money. But people wont do this because their too concerned with their life-style.

If you look at the poor white counties in the country they are voting republican. This mass of uninformed are their power base. If you look at the republican party, they just want money. They mask this with phony issues they really can't do much about. Like gun control, abortion. I do not know why this is so hard to see. In so many words Kerry said in 2008: I have enough money...keep going republican and I'll have more, along with them, and you will be poorer. But they still went with money grubbing Bush. Keep voting for the money grubbers and down we go!
 
Just keep blaming Obama whenever ANYTHING goes wrong. That has seemed to work pretty well.
