Wet venting questions?

Long story short. Adding a wet bar into our basement, the sink is approximately and no more than the main drain that runs out to the sewer. This drain runs vertical from the ceiling, down the wall and down into the foundation. I assume it's ok to t into this with the sink drain and move the cleanout on the main drain up a few inches to accommodation this. My real question is this, is it ok to run the vent line for the sink up at least 6" above the flood level of the sink and then tie back into the main drain essentially creating a wet vent? Since the main drain is vented by all the lines that tie into it above it (essentially the rest of the house's plumbing) We really don't have vent lines on this side of the house nor do I want to run a new one. And please don't say add an AAV or Studor vent, our inspectors around here don't like them. I'm not sure what code we are under but we live in PA if that helps.
