I have recorded video with my camcorder and can watch it on my computer with no problem. I have made different types of files (.AVI, MP4, MOV, and .WMV) with no trouble. But, I recorded video from a TV on my DVD recorder and I can watch it using Nero, but I can not see any file information when I try to Explore the drive using Windows 7. My video editing software, PowerDirector, can't find any files on the DVD drive. I downloaded a decrypter, but it can't find any files either.
Is the problem that the DVD decoder is in Nero and it won't give me access?
I find several DVD decoding players on the internet for free download, but if they only allow me to watch the video then I am not interested.
