What are some dishes i can make for my diabetic mom?

my mom is diabetic and i want to make a big dinner for her, treats and everything. can you help out with some recipies orr websites? thanks
 
Cindy, your best bet would be to go to the Diabetic Association website. Also your Nutritionist/ Dietitian at the hospital has a booklet which is free.

Diabetics, like us heart patients are not weird or strange, we can carry on with healthy lives, we have to be a little bit more cautious. Please use the web site, and be in contact with the association, like the Heart and Stroke Foundation I am with, I find them fantastic and very helpful.

Now that I said that, I am very open when I say I cheat with foods also, I have never hidden the fact on here, my top contributor friends also have a great laugh.
