I am writing my first Sci-Fi (the premise is private. sorry) novel, and I need to know what themes are overused. I will tell you that my story contains the future technology we have today, and that it concerns a video game. What I am missing is a conflict. Regardless, I need to know what themes are overused. I only have read Douglas Adams, so I'm not really big on the Sci-Fi scene.
