I am usually reading paranormal books such as the twilight series, wake trilogy, vampire diaries etc and I know I should be exposed to great literature. Considering the fact that I have big tests coming up, I know that reading increases your vocabulary and you get to write in that sophisticated language and I suck at English and I could be better. So I'm trying to discover some great classics and its a bit overwhelming so I decided to ask here.

I really enjoyed The Outsiders, Mice and Men, and Animal farm if that helps.

I love the vampire diaries too,as long as you read something instead of playing the walking dead on my ipod like I do,it really doesn't matter, but if your interested try Paradise Lost its a old poem but really good about Adam and Eve and there fall from grace and romantic crap like that, but get the revised version,I didn't and was bombarded by words like "thee, thouest, and thou art not" I couldn't get though it.(going back to play walking dead)

Tale of two cities , American notes , Oliver twist , Great expectations , Pickwick papers all by Charles Dickens.
