I'm expecting #2. I live in China so cheese and cottage cheese is unavailable. I've heard cheese is really healthy to eat while pregnant and I love it. What can I eat as a replacement since I cannot buy cheese here? The milk here is difficult for me to drink because it is all whole milk. It's very rich and there's no such thing as 2% or 1% or skim here. I eat a lot of pumpkin, spinach, other veggies, potato (sweet and white), rice, chicken, and pork. What other foods should I be eating to make sure I am getting all the nutrients I need for a healthy baby and pregnancy? Is tofu a good idea?
