I'm writing a graphic novel about an alien (a girl) who escapes from her planet and lands on earth. She was an ex-con and hoped to escape her death sentance by escaping the planet. It's basically about how she adjusts to earth with her new friend (a boy), and how she protects him and her new friends from the guards of her planet who are trying to kill her and make her suffer. And also about her grudge with the the prison guard (a woman). The problem I'm having is that I don't have a real CRIME that the girl was accused of. If anyone has ANY ideas, please help me. I want it to relate to her relationship with the woman. Just throw anything out there, please!
