My family is getting a third car for my college age sister and highschool me to share. We both are really good drivers and have not gotten into any accidents. I am 5'10" and I have really really long legs that don't fit well in small cars. We have a midsize Hyundai Sonata and my knees hit the wheel when I drive it, so a car isn't an option for us.
What are some years and models of some small SUVs or crossovers that will be safe, fuel efficient, reliable and reasonably priced?
It also has to be automatic, neither of us know how to drive stick. And at least 6 cylinder, 4 won't cut it for us.

Good ones are Honda CR-V's, Subaru Foresters, Ford Escapes, GMC Terrains, and Jeep Liberties. All of these are nice and fuel efficient. In an SUV, you won't have to worry too much about safety, if you hit a car, you probably will be hurt less than the other guy.

I hear the Nissan Rogue is a pretty good small SUV to have that isn't exceedingly expensive.
