What are some interesting presentation topics related to the WWI or WWII time period?

I need some topics related to some person, event, or occurrence that happened during or in between the WWI - post WWII time period. Whatever topic I choose will need to be one that would make a highly interesting presentation and not be too broad or limited. Does anyone have any suggestions?
 
The WPA was a fascinating program and many of the works still benefit us today.
 
Look up what the USA did to get Japan to think bombing Pearl Harbor was a good idea.
 
Sometimes it's fun to just discuss the differences in technology. Compare the German tanks to those of the other countries. That sort of thing usually holds peoples attention.
