Many of the greatest films ever were black & white. Since then, other directors have imitated them and copied their styles. There is no equal to Dr Strangelove or The Graduate.

Well, that's a pity. All of hollywood's best movies are in black and white. I mean, I suppose you could count The Wizard of Oz, which is partly in color... but that's really it. Black and white wins every time. Sorry!
