(PDA) or public display of affection: what are the laws for it in Michigan?
sorry i meant rules and inside of middle schools.
such as rules for hugging, etc.

There are no laws prohibiting affection.

It would not become illegal unless it became obscene, indecent, immoral, or lewd and lascivious.

Inside a school, it depends on the school. Some ban all hugging even between friends. The people who make those rules are pervs who think all human contact is sexual.

Outside of school, it's tough to define. Anything obviously sexual is a no no.

You should use good judgment. So you can hug and handhold, but limit kissing to closed mouth.
