was chatting with some karate peeps about loyalty. A 1st dan said she'd trust on blind faith even if her sensei said he'd quit teaching shotokan and said i'm gonna start teaching wwe. she said she'd have to follow. I said No, she doesn't. She said, I think i can trust the people I've trained with for almost 20 years. I told her that I'd been abused by a sandan. (who she'd also known for some 20 years He'sd also been there for 20 years). Blind faith isn't enough. She said you can't mix emotions with karate. I told her to tell him cause he's the unethical one. She said well you learned. I said, yeah. That's one reason of many i don't trust 'on faith' even dojo people, senior or junior. They have to prove themselves.
That's the first time i really told anyone I'd been abused, except for my senseis, and a Nidan, named Kara. Well, I said it on fb. It's hard to write cause now Idk what my karate buddies would think of me, since I named my ex and stuff too.
