err... people this is a thread about 'snacking'...

NOT what you had for dinner or a full meal.
It's about snacks... keep it on topic.

Emergency... had to snack on some 70% cocoa solids chocolate bar.
Headache like nuts today. Crazy... usually an espresso wards off any form of headache.. but not today... so chocolate it is.

Mmmm 70%, sounds good Slip! Just had a dark choc Tunnocks tea cake.Already had coffee, think I need a decent espresso maker at work

Barley Sugars.
...just polished off some wontongs about 30 seconds ago

grrr... my Gaggia Syncrony is at home in pieces on the kitchen table.
So I've got to get home tonight and play espresso machine technician.
Needless to say if it was up to me to develop technology in a post-apocalyptic world... we'd all be having coffee Turkish style.

Sadly there'd be no espresso technology.

Wow, I would love a Gaggia. They have them at my local coffee merchants and I go in every week and drool at them!

If you ever are in the market let me know and I can give you some tips on what to look for. There are sooo many rubbish espresso machines out there. Gaggia make some superb ones.. lol... I say as my machine sits in pieces.

Coffee is SO minging.

I have with me now, a coca cola (well actually two as one if left over from last night) and a bag of tomato sauce flavoured crisps.

Southern coffee (i.e. with chicory) and one of the scones I made last night. Mmmmm. Cafe du Monde style late.

I love southern coffee. Its so thick it leaves a film on the inside of the cup and I swear if you tip it, it takes a week to slosh out. And if I remember correctly, chickory has a bit of caffiene of its own, thus creating a really caffienated coffee.

I had white tea yesterday- I added a bit of lavender to it and found the addition to be really good. You just have to be careful how much you add or it'll end up tasting like perfume. One instance when less is more.

Dare I ask? Where are your pimms and why is there fruit in there?

After avoiding them for 34 years from out of nowhere I've now got a real thing for Weetabix.
Cold milk, plenty of sugar...yum-yum.

My favorite Wheetabix snack is to take plain yogurt and berries and crumble some Wheetabix on it. So very yum.
