ok if you get the TL type S then youll have a really good car but the G8 is one of the meanest sedans in the U.S.!!!!! it puts out 380bhp! ive driven a few of both the TL and G8 and i just feel so much cooler in the G8 cuz in the TL people dont stare cuz they dont realize its a type S and even if they see the badge they dont know what it means lol id go with the G8! youll be alot happier!
the g8 is way faster. its not even close the only good TL is the type S but, not many people in this country even knows what that means. they may think the S means that it comes with better interior options or something..
Your TL would be worth quite a bit more than the G8 in 3 years. There is no way the G8 would be a collector's item. Things only become collector's items if it is well loved. This car has not sold many even though has decent performance. Some things die because it does not sell like Pontiac products and for good reason.
No one goes "Oooh, there goes that Pontiac G8!" It'd be more like "Oh... you have a Pontiac G8?" and thinking to themselves, "why?"
