What company can pick up my settee and deliver it to my friends house?

get a local one but make sure he has insurance.or you could hire a van and take it yourself see what one is the cheapest.
 
Where does your friend live? If it is nearby, just find a local "man with a van" (postcard in newsagent window is best bet for this). Depends where your friend lives... if it is not local, probably not really worth the cost and trouble... would depend on the sofa then!
