I just read an interpretation here, http://focusonjerusalem.com/theidentityofthe7.html.
What are your thoughts,

Google search keyword : Daniel 10 toes are the ten major religions

If they are saying it';s religions, then I really don't want to read it. lol

EDIT:
The Ten toed Kingdom is in Daniel 2. All the parts of that image in Daniel 2 are two things, 1) a Timeline, 2) a list of kingdoms (or empires), that would come. Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome, all in our past. The future empires are not revealed in Daniel 2, other than some characteristics that are given to them so that we might recognize them.

As I learned it, there are two feet of miry clay and iron, the explanation for those two are given in Daniel 2, partly strong, partly brittle. The two nations are as I understand them Syria and Iran, that's my opinion as of right now. What made that apparent to me is that last year they tried to get Lebanon to join a group they were starting, which failed. Since then, Hezbollah took over Lebanon, so I think it would join Iran and Syria, both of which are currently having internal problems. Iran is setting itself up to be another Soviet Union, and Syria has it's seat of power disturbed. So this gathering of nations is stopped for now.

When things change enough to proceed again, the feet will gather the nations, 10 nations, to form that group.

That 10 nation empire is what we Christians are waiting for. They are behaving just as a brittle nation, but with power in weaponry and people. That is the fulfillment of the Daniel 2 prophecy. Not just Daniel 2 though! But also Daniel 7 and the 4th Beast, they are the same thing. Also, the Beast which rises out of the Sea in Revelation 13, it's the same thing.

According to Revelation 17 now, here we go with some verses:

9 “This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. 10 They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while."

Stay with me on this, because it goes fast. The seven heads are being likened to kings, which are the kingdoms or empires of the past. Not the hills at the Vatican (so don't make that common mistake, we have plenty in Revelation on them elsewhere).

These are those seven, but it doesn't end there.
The Seven Nations that have oppressed Israel
five are fallen
1. Egypt
2. Assyria
3. Babylon
4. Medo-Persia
5. Greece

one is (during John's time)
Rome

the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for only a little while.
the Ten Toes

11 The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king.
This is Antichrist, the fully manifested, demon possessed man who rules. This is the ten toes, but now has only seven crowns, not ten any more. So when you read elsewhere in the Book of Revelation, and that Beast only has 7 crowns, it's talking about after that battle, where three of those nations (presumably Islamic) will go to war against the man who runs a country given to him, who begins to lose that war, and seems dead like Saddam Hussein and Qaddafi were, but miraculously conquers those three and ends up ruling over them all.

This is a rendition of the same story found in Daniel 7, where three horns are uprooted by one little horn. Antichrist is that little horn.

That demon possession cannot take place until the church is gone. The Rapture takes place just before the possession.

If I've written this all wonky or you have other questions, email me and let me know.

Thanks for asking such a great question.
