What do I do if I gave a guy my number but I'm not actually interested in him?

He is friends with my good friend and I know some people he works with so I gave him my number cause I didn't want to say no in front of all his friends. But I'm not actually interested and I don't want to hurt his feelings. He called me and left a message but what should I do?
 
Alright, be blunt with the guy. Tell him straight up you don't want a relationship with him. You don't want to lead him on in the least, so just be honest with him.
 
Just let him know flat out. Tell him exactly what happened. He should respect it if he has even an ounce of maturity. It would also help to give him some ideas for a good excuse that works for both of you.
 
just be nice to him and tell him u dont like him like that and if u guys want to talk as friends thats cool. or u can make some excuse that u are interested in some guy and u talk to him about it and he will kind of get the hint and might not call u again.
 
tell him, hey xyz, do you wana go have drinks with my boyfrnd? he will love your company as much as i do.
 
Just tell him exactly how you feel and that you're not interested in a relationship right now. Also, tell him that you don't mind going out as friends...
 
ive given my number to plenty of guys, it doesnt mean anything is going to happen between you two ! !

but if he does try and pull something onto you,
tell him, you're not interested

its not hard at all, if you dont want to do it straight up in his face, do it in a txt or a phone call. Dont stress, its not the slightest bit of problem.

tell him if he tries to come onto you, and nothings gonna happen unless he does so.....

Don't answer the phone. Girls do that stuff all the time. You guys don't know when to not give out the number. Women....
