My friend keeps telling me I should go to one but I'm not really a big fan of clubs and meetings and whatnot. But at the same time, I'd like to meet more decent lgbt people on campus since the majority of the gay guys I met just ended in random one night hookups. My boyfriend said he'd be willing to go with me, which is pretty big since my boyfriend's pretty antisocial. But I don't want to go and then it just be a bunch of people sitting around moaning about how bad the lgbt community has it while not doing anything to fix it, which for some reason is the way I envision it.
