I had sooo much fire when I became born again, I have slacked on my studies, I dont feel on fire like I was. I think Im allowing myself to get bogged down with my circumstances instead of putting total trust on the Lord.
Maintain a schedule of studies, prayer and scripture readings. Perhaps a healing service. Acedia is different from despair or sloth, but it appears to have the same effect on prayer life and life in Christ.
The supernatural is not separate from the natural. Do not see your life as having two components. Don't see them as separate as you might have done with home and friends or home and school. See Jesus in others in your everyday life.
learn BUDDHISM...the fusion of BUDDHISM and ISLAM/CHRISTIANITY is the best.
I know lots of my friends from northern CHina who does that. they are mostly MUSLIMS but they follow the certein teachings of BUDDHA too...
these people look so peaceful. everytime i look at them, i get this feeling of big spirituality coming out from them.
But seriously, you should put more trust in yourself. If you're not feeling the fire maybe it's because your relying too much on things that really aren't God's responsibility.
You celebrate. I deconverted and i feel much better. Christians have become scary, look at all the trouble they cause. Yeah, I know what fundies say, look at Jesus not christians, but christians should represent their beliefs better.

I think you have answers your own question. You are caught up in the mundane things of world and they have choke or put out your fire for christ. But remember eccl. 12;13, 7;12. What church were you born again in ? Maybe if you has someone to communicate with in bible matter that might help. I am available.
