What do you find most rewarding from traveling?

New experiences! and getting to know people from different cultures... it's just amazing how many new things you learn when traveling with the help of the locals. Things that you would never dream of experiencing when roaming alone.
 
That odd, humbling feeling you get that makes you realize that however big and important you think you are, the world is such an enormous, amazing place, that our little existence doesn't really mean squat in the world.
That and the food.
 
learning about different cultures + customs and when possible a new language
 
that's easy... when I return home, pop open my bank statement and see that beautiful negative sign on the dollar total. Pure bliss!
