She prefers to be called Tracy outside her castle, as her birth name is a conflict to her (explained underneath). Her real name is Entracia (En-tray-shia) and she was named after a sacred bird of her land: a dove, due to her unnaturally snowy white hair which her late father (The King) found it reminded him of the dove (Entracia) who is seen in the heart of winter only (24 Dec) and named her after it.
But after her father was killed, she hated to be called by that name, so she developed a new name derived from Entracia (Tracy) and it kind of plays a major part in her life as it shows her relationship with her father, and how she felt insecurity in that name.
So what do you think, does the name fits the story. She's a princess btw and the story revolves around her life after her father is murdered.
Please no rude comments.. I just want opinions... =)
NOTE: The big issue is that Tracy is a real name (as in from this world) but in the story, Entracia creates it from her own name. Does this sound like really bad if I use this in a fiction based world. Cuz like many fictional stories have real names in them. And in Harry Potter, there was both real and other world names for characters. But the book didn't explain how they came to have mixed names, when the Wizards where living in the normal world...
I would be devastated if I had to change Tracy's name as I have been writing this story since I was 12 (Im 19 now) and it would never be the same if I had to call her anything else.... so you know what I mean...=p
