What do you think is an interesting topic for my TESL dissertation?

I just started my third year in TESL course (Teaching English as Second Language), and is going to start doing dissertation next week.I was thinking about doing CLT (Communicative Language Teaching) or Drama-based teaching. However, I'm still looking for a more interesting and appealing topic for the research.
 
Holy Moly! What school are you in?
A. You should be having this conversation with the faculty in your school
B. I hope you're talking about a master's thesis and not a Ph.D. dissertation.
C. It's "I just started and I AM going to start"
D. CLT has been done to death. What are you going to do with it or drama-based teaching? It's nearly impossible to prove that they are superior to other methods because there are too many variables. You need to think of a narrowly defined research question that can be proved or disproved.
