Kaliban-are native people of the mythical Ancient Isles (Other World), not really native but they have been in the isles for generations.
They have black hair, dark-skin, and freckles are seen as a common trait, but not all have this trait. They value exercising as it is part of their education. They excel at fishing, swimming and diving. Hunting is common but the islanders generally eat fruits, nuts and fish. They live in huts made from straw, wood and plant fibers. They also have totem-like poles of animals (Gull, Sea Turtle and Squid) and decorated with flowers. Though having no enemies, they have use of the spear, the bow and arrow, slingshot and knife. The main religion is the Moon God Sobete. According to one of their superstitions, anyone born with curly hair is considered to be stubborn.
I hop they don't have any Native stereotypes. But if they do please point it out. I wanted to they were a mixed race descended from traveling Bahamians, Native Americans, Polynesians, Hawaiians and Caribs, but I'm not sure if it would sound alright.
