this poem is a response to "The Passionate shepherd to his love" by Christopher Marlowe..

To my dear pasisonate shepherd
I am saying for the record,
your promises are far too bold,
They are unthinkable to hold.

You assured me steep mountain yields,
and for those I would have to bring shields.
You guaranteed a gown of wool,
and for that, i am quite the fool.

You have convinced me to elope,
and with that I will not lose hope,
that the love we have is truly real,
I have to say, I love the feel.
((does that last line make sense?))

Feedback appreciated. school assignment, each line must have eight syllables and rhyme with the last line from the previous sentence.
