Apparently, schools have been cutting down on art education in favor of more academic courses. This is sad since the arts helps teach kids to be creative and imaginative, instead of mind numbed robots whose futures will include either monotonous part time jobs or cubicle careers.
What do you think the future of the arts will be and what is your opinion on it?
(btw, some may argue that kids these days need more academics due to the mass amount of brainless teens these days. I say, if you shove academics down their throats, they will become bitter towards education, learning and knowledge. If we give them academics and an ability to artistically express themselves, then their minds are bound to grow more than if they were to receive one.)
