What does he call me a bitch as a joke?

This guy has liked me for a while I think and recently says Hey bitch but only when we are alone and if I say dont do that he apologises. So what does this mean ? Also if he only seems to notice me among my friends and keeps coming up to me and putting his hand close to my face, when I walk by to freak me out and then he laughs. Any ideas what that is? Thanks for any replies :)
 
His mom wasn't a very good one

My mom was a good one but my parents have split up :-(
 
If he apologised he does mean it as a joke. Just lighten up or if it continues then tell him to stop and explain that it upsets you, cos it isn't particularly funny...is it?
