Will Smith: the version of the Qu'ran i read said that the Lord sent prophets to the various nations to teach according to the ppl's capacities.

Wouldn't the Buddhists & Hindus of India fall into this category?
I'm not really here: thank you : )
Cece, Sadie, and Muslim Egypt: thank you very much. : )

Guys: hasn't Muhammed (pbuh) said that "He who knows himself, knows God"?

You are going to Hell ,just as christians and jews ,don't take it personally

“’O you assembly of jinn and Mankind! Did not there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you My Verses and warning you of the Meeting of this Day of yours’ They will say: ‘We bear witness against ourselves’ It was the life of this world that deceived them. And they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

131. This is because your Lord would not destroy the (populations of) towns for their wrongdoing (i.e. associating others in worship along with Allaah) while their people were unaware (so the Messengers were sent)”
[al-An’aam 6:130-131]

that you are not muslim doesn't mean you are bad.

But, im afraid there's a verse in Quran says, "Anyone who seeks religion other than Islam shall not be accepted".

The answer to your question is dependent on how much you agree or disagree with the following verses from the Qu'ran:

Surah 112 Al-Ikhlas

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
"

1. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;

2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;

3. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;

4. And there is none like unto Him.

"

Now, do you agree with it or disagree?
Christains disagree based on verse 3; for this purpose, their destiny is hellfire.

Hindus disagree based on verse 1; they believe in multiple gods, thus their destiny is hellfire.

I am not trying to interpret for you, read the translation of the entire Qu'ran and you might find some thing interesting in it:

In Islam we believe that not only Muslims go to heaven some Muslims can even go to hell if they're deeds are not accepted by god. Jews and Christians, that don't associate anything with god except as his creation, are able to enter heaven if they have done good deeds have a good moral character. As far as people who worship in more than one god or no god at all you will not be accepted just as you did not accept god as your only creator the right way, but,we believe that after one has did one's time in hell they could enter heaven after one has gotten their punishment. Overall in Islam we believe that Allah(god) is the greatest judge and that he will bring justice to all his creation. As long as you are a good person and do good deeds for the sake of Allah you will enter heaven. Also some advice for people who believe in more than one god such as Buddhists: it is not logical to believe in more than one god. This is why....God means the most powerful highest being that has NO LIMIT whatsoever right? If there are 2 gods then they would have to be equal in power because if they weren't then the less powerful would not be a god (contradicts the def. of god). If they are equal then, one god cannot exceed the power of the other, this puts a limit to god's power! That means that there has to be one god!!! Think about it. Hope I explained this clearly. And I think its awesome that you have friends of different religions and that you are seeking to learn about Islamic beliefs that most people misunderstand.
