what does it mean when you dream your driving but scared ?

well i still havent learned to drive in real life. but in my dreams i know how to drive but sometimes im scared i crash or that the police will get me. but i drive good in the dream .. ive had these dreams of me driving and being scared about 3 or 4 times. i just dreamt it last night too .. please can you tell me what you think it means ? thanks. websites will do too
 
While it is common to dream of being out of control of a vehicle as a metaphor for being out of control in ones life it's more common and universally true that scary(ish) reoccuring dreams of any sort are your brains way of helping you work through what you would do in a bad situation... that you may be anxious about or not consciously aware of.

The fear dream is an inherited feature of dreams and have allowed mankind to work through problems and prepare themselves for all manner of bears, wolves, starvation, being lost, and losing loved ones. It is suspected that this is in fact the evolutionary purpose behind dreams.. doing so helped you to survive.

The good news is that no, this is not fortune-telling and does not mean that you ARE going to be in a bad situation.. the BETTER news is that, should it actually happen, you will be more calm for having had lived through it previously in a dream state.
 
It probably relates to feeling scared as you are going through life and feeling a bit out of control. I'm assuming your a young teen and going through a lot of changes so being scared and feeling out of control is normal at this stage of your life.
 
ah.. i used to get those dreams before i started driving.... your just curious of what the sensation of actually driving will be like./.. interacting with other drivers, following road signs etc etc.... going on journeys on your own, its something similar to young teenagers dreaming bout wat sex will be like when they havnt expiereinced it yet haha
