I have already replaced idle pully, tensioner, and belt yet I still have squeeling sound, almost to a chirp, what else could this sound be? Its been chirping for a while now. I changed the belt and it started squeeling even more. Changed the belt again and the same thing happened.

My Father in law was leaning towards it being the water pump but Ive never known it do something like that before with a water pump and the temperature guage still be fine. Its been a progressing chirp that actually gets worse with exceleration rather than squeeling its self out and quieting. The sound is coming from the middle front under the hood.

What specific signs can I look for with each possible thing it could be?

My first thought was water pump and you reiterated that by saying your FIL thought the same. I've had cars that squeeled like how you described and the first thing to go was...the water pump.

I tend to agree with the water pump idea. It's not completely failed yet and that's why the engine is not running hot. But it is failed enough to create resistance, and is not turning as fast as the belt wants to turn it. Therefore the belt is sliding over it faster than the pulley can turn, and makes the noise.

well remove the belt and start by trying to spin the things the belt turns or cranking motor and spraying wd40 at each part the belt turn could be any of them can find it either way remove belt and spin by hand and feel for a drag or crank and spray and listen for it to stop
