what extracurricular activites would help me break into the fashion industry?

I am 15 and I want to become an image consultant (fashion stylist) and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to break into the industry? I will take any advice you have to offer, weither it be where I can volunteer, what websites I should look at, schooling ideas etc.
