I am a gay male and i just want to know what few religions do not judge us because when i do have kids i do not want them to be brought up in a religion that teaches hate and judgement. I was told lutherans accept gays is that true?
Whoa! Whats up with all the smack talk? Number one i do not believe in god. But i want my children too. Also for those who say i can't have kids i don't mean actually produce kids and i am pretty sure you know what i meant before hand if not you are stupid. I am going to adopt a child that deserves a chance in life. Anyways the whole point is for my kids to have something to believe in. Sp they have something to live for.

It doesn't matter who does or doesn't judge homosexuals.
All that matters is knowing the truth of where you end up eternally.... in heaven or hell after death.
All that matters is that you find out the truth about where you go for eternity before you die.
The bible is the only source of truth which leads to everlasting life.

You have to find a church who will study the bible with you.....so you can see for yourself....what God calls sins , & what you must do on your part to gain salvation. The bible NT does not teach people to hate or judge.....rather leave judgment to God. It is the bible & God's Word that convicts of our sin. It must be our hearts desire to repent of the things(sins) God hates & turn away from our sinful lifestyle & follow the way of Christ. If you don't repent(turn away )from the sin (God lists) & have the heart to follow God's Word ...& become baptized.....then that is rejecting God's Word.....so simply put....you have chosen to not live by the the Truth that gives eternal life....therefore you will not end up in eternal life in heaven .....because that is reserved for only those who actually follow & live by it.

Why do you even need a religion in this day of age? If you want your "future" kids to grow up without being hated for who they are and what they do then no religion is the best option.
Science is always better than a simple story on the creation of everything. So teach your kids truth not lies and they will be better people.

You can follow any "religion" that accepts you but that is not what is important. If you want to inherit eternal life the bible is explicit on how to do that. These groups will accept you but you will still be destined for separation from God according to His word. Now you either accept the fact that the bible is the inerrant word of the living God or toss it out as it has no value. You cannot cherry pick the parts you want to accept and reject those that as you put it "judge you", it would have absolutely no value then. God is a Holy God and will not have sin in His presence, this is why He sent Christ to die for the sins of the world so that we as sinners could once again be reconciled before Him. You have to make the choice of accepting His Son (His gift to you) as your savior or reject Him. To those who accept Him and make Him the Lord of their life they are promised eternal life. There is no other way to God, if there was then Christ would not have had to go to the cross. Sin cannot go unpunished, you do the crime you pay the time, in the Christians case Christ paid the time. Hope you get what I'm trying to say, it is the biggest decision you will ever have to make.

Unitarian Universalism.
Anglicans have a gay bishop so some of them are tolerant but others are still haters.
Liberal Judaism.
Metropolitan Church of Christ (a church founded for homosexual Christians).

It's not just religion that's specific against sexual sin, it's God.

ALL sex outside of marriage is sinful to God.

EDIT: Your reply is ridiculous. They will see an immoral father who doesn't believe in something he wants THEM to believe in! That's hypocrisy and it doesn't work well for anyone, much less one's own kids. If they actually embraced God, they would see your sin for what it is. Do you actually really want that? Besides, the devil "believes" in God. It takes more than mere belief, it takes obedience. Another quality of faith you aren't prepared to show them in the way you wish to live. Get right with God first, then show your kids.

Do better!

Choose life.

I think there is a Christian church that has gotten there and realized homosexuality is not a sin, not sure though

Christians will not support the sin but they will, as does the Lord God, support the individual. They will not support homosexuality as that is contrary to God's law. Now, what is hateful about that ?

We don’t judge people’s orientations. Each of us has tendencies towards certain sins, and this is usually a product of our upbringing. For example, a person tempted towards gluttony probably had something in his upbringing that contributed to that. You need to get away from the notion that being gay is an identity you have. The longer you think that way, the harder it will be to change.
Now what we can judge is specific actions. God has said that a man must not lie with another man, for that is an abomination before Jehovah. And casting aside all religious arguments, I must say that sex between men carries with it significant risks such as anal fistulas, hepatitis B, and AIDS. Even an evolutionist would tell you that the male posterior did not evolve for such unnatural uses.
I suggest counseling with a mature Christian person, to help you overcome these tendencies you have.

The only religion where you're going to find many pro-gay people is Christianity. Some of the largest denominations support gays, such as Presbyterian, Episcopal, United Church of Christ, and Lutheran.

God damn it all these gay-bashing christians. Does he want you to be gay? Fuck no. You shouldn't care. Why do you care?

"I can't sleep at night knowing there are gay people in the world!" People need to live and let live. That's what the phrase means. Do your own thing, and let people do their own thing. And you can't choose to be gay, don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. If you think it's a choice, then try and choose to be gay, right now. I guarantee you won't enjoy gay sex as much as an actual gay person would.

So to answer the question: Yes, there are, because there is no "wrong" way to believe in and have faith in god, no matter what form he may be in. The correct way to love god is to do it as you so choose. Don't let anyone prevent you from loving god in your own way. I don't believe in god, but those who do have the right to worship god the way they want, just as long as they don't try to force it upon others.

The book of mormon says that homosexuality is wrong but the bible/torah don't. Most english translations of the bible are wrong and have many errors. If the translators don't like gays then the bible says that God hates them to. If the translator is gay the bible says God loves them. As a christian I could say that I believe being straight is just as sinful. Its the sex that the sin not the actual attraction. Sodom was just a city that God destroyed because of sin. Unfortunately many christians think Sodom was anal sex between two men. The word "sodomy" did not appear as a sexual act till hundreds of years later. Ancient jews and even currently a lot of orthodox jews still think of homosexuality as sin. This is because back in the ancient days it was considered wrong to waste the seamen. Therefore straight pleasure sex and masturbation was wrong. That was due to the low population at the time. Israel needed more people. Leviticus 18:2 " Do not lie with a man as one lies with a women; that is detestable." (NIV) This is incorrect translating. Most english bibles say this same thing or something very similar. Now remember the old testament is in hebrew and just translated in english to say what the translators want. The literal meaning of the hebrew is "You shall not lie with man on the bed of a women." Straight couples didn't always sleep in the same bed.
