...things to actually help? Or what if we stopped spending money on these huge churches that attract people to their expensive facilities? What if we used every church in the US as a house for the homeless that community service volunteers, or people serving community service for non-violent crimes could work at?
Ok, well what if ALL people just stopped praying? And wasting their money on church expenditure and donated the money directly to people in need?
 
Personally I practice a "both/and" philosophy rather than an "either/or" philosophy.

Just think how much better the world would be if Christians maintained their relationship with God through prayer and also put their time and money where their mouths are by doing what Jesus has commanded us to do;"do unto others as you would have them to do unto you".
