What interesting topics can I use to write a persuasive essay?

I need topics for an upcoming persuasive essay.
Please give me some ideas that I can debate on.
No abortion, "don't do drugs", alcohol, or stay-in-school topics, please!
I prefer something that is media-related as in tv, radio, or internet related.
But if it isn't related to that, it's okay. Give it to me anyway.
I'm looking for something fresh and can catch people's attention.
No politics, please.

Writing persuasive essays are easier if you pick a topic that you feel strongly about. It could be something controversial such as Gay Marriage, or could be something simple, such as why you think your favorite style food is the best. The topic isn't too important- it's how you support it that is crucial.
