What is a 32 bit and 64 bit processor and what is the difference between the two?

its 2 completely different processors.

32 bit runs programs at 32 bit
64 bit runs 64 bit programs.

a 32 bit processor is only compatible with things which are 32 bit. and 32 bit processors can only use 3gb of ram no matter how much you put in it.

most programs are now available in 64 bit
so go for 64 bit as it is the future of PC

8 bits is one byte. So 32 bits refer to 4 bytes and 64 bits refer to 8 bytes. The thirty two bit machine processes 4 bytes at a time and the 64 bit machine processes 8 bytes at a time.
It is like a road that is 32 meters wide and 64 meters wide. The wider road can handle double the traffic.
