what is a good dvd copy/ shrinking burner to back up my personal dvds?

i already tried dvd clone and it doesnt make the disc fit on a standard dvdr and i also tried easy dvd shrink and that wont do anything with copyright movies that i own. i need a program that will copy my movies and shrink to fit on a standard dvdr disc please thanks
