what is a good limewire replacement for my mac?

I've been looking for other programs but it's been frustrating because the first one told me I needed a new java version, when I checked for updates nothing comes out. The other ones end in .exe and for some reason I can't activate those. I'm pretty bad with computers, I just need something simple. Can anyone give me some advice?

Limewire and all other softwares alike are dead. Even Frostwire changed the way it operates. Frostwire is now just a simplistic way to find and download torrents. Torrents are the new standard for P2P file sharing.
