What is a good meal to cook in my new skillet?

I got a new cast iron skillet, and I want to break it in. What is a good (simple) meal I can cook in it? I'm not looking for recipes as much as I am looking for types of meals and brainstorming ideas.

Also, can you put the skillet in the oven broiler?
 
Chopped chicken breast and mixed vegetables over rice. Very easy and tasty :)

-Cut the chicken breast into the size you prefer
-Frozen mixed veggies
-Minute rice
Cook it all, the rice seperately of course and mix it at the end. You can put whatever sauce you want on at the end; soy sauce, itailian dressing, etc.
