What is a good mother/daughter vacation idea?

I am 24 and my mom is 49. I am in late recovery from a broken leg (car accident) and I would love to surprise her with a "thanks for being a great mom" trip. 2-4 days preferably. It will most likely be in the springtime around her 50th birthday. Budget isn't extremely tight but I'm not trying to spend a fortune. United States only. Thanks!!
 
You should go to new hampshire rent a house (I have a house there) on the lake!!! There great and theres so much to do and you can relax SOOO easily!!! I remember Ive went there ever since I was 0 lol with my mom and sibilings and my couzinz mom and sib!!! I still go its so amazing there I always love escaping from all this city life!!!
 
take her to a spa and have a pamper weekend. massages, facial, manicures and a lovely few days with your mother
