I always pull at the skin on my thumbs and fingers. The skin will peel off and I will occasionally bleed, but when I do, it bleeds a lot. I have tried Liquid Skin, a silicone covering, which cured my thumbs for awhile, but then I picked that off! It's the habit I want to break, not the meds for my thumbs!
