a pulse is created by the fast flow of blood in the arteries. you can feel your pulse when the arteries can be compressed against a bone such as at the neck, at the wrist, behind the knee, on the inside of the elbow, and near the ankle joint. an average healthy adults pulse rate is around
60 - 100 beats per minute. a well conditioned athlete might have a pulse rate lower that 60 beats per minute.During sleep, the pulse can drop to as low as 40 beats her minute. during strings exercise your pulse rate can rise up to 150–200 beats per minute.
infants and children have a pulse rate of about 110 beats per minute.
basically the answer of your question is your pulse is perfectly normal. you might be feeling dizzy because you got up to fast after sitting down or lying down which causes the blood in your head to rush down really fast and with allot of pressure causing you body to lose its balance in its attempt to take the blood to its original position in the rest of your body.
