what is an estimate of how much it would cost to paint the body of a sport bike?

I dont have one yet but i want to have some bright colors riding around to give me the least possibility of getting creamed by somebody, what are some estimates/past experience on the cost of painting a sport bike by a professional? also would it be all that difficult to do it myself?
this is just one color, no custom stuff just one bright color
 
It all depends on where you get it done......anywhere from about 800 bucks and up. I say 800 because that was the cheapest I've seen in my area, for a decent 1 color paint job. Its going to be different everywhere you go.
