I recently rebuilt a motorcycle that was sans-title. One part of the paperwork to get a replacement title for it is an indemnity or surety bond for 1.5x the tax value of the bike, that is then held for 3 years time. The lady at the dmv said "honey, i don't know what in the hell that is". And neither do I. What exactly is it and how do I go about getting one. Thanks!
