What is an interesting [[NON-BORING]] debate topic I can write about in English?

I'm having a hard time with this. I want something that isn't boring [like recycling, smoking, ect.] but it can't be too controversial because the teacher doesn't want parents complaining.

List of things we cannot do,
-Gay marraige
-Abortion [I wanted to do that one]
-Religion & Politics

Pleaseeeee give me suggestions because I need to come up with a topic by tomorrow! Give me something that'll get people thinking and actually interested in. Thankkkk youuu<3(:

I once wrote a paper on teachers' frequency of sexual activity and its possible correlation to class time attitude. Or you could do an Irish whiskey review with samples.

And there is always that classtime favorite, name everyone in the class and whether you think they are a virgin, alcoholic, homosexual, shallow, slutty, and so on.
