What is an interesting topic for an editorial? (grade 9)?

okay the assignment is to write an editorial. This can be about anything. I'm stuck for idea's on what to write about. any suggestions ??
 
-should the presidency be limited to one term only?
-should the presidency term limit be lifted?
-should someone born outside the US, but who is now a US citizen, be allowed to run for president?
 
1. Here's how we can pay off the national debt.
2. Here's how we can make health care more affordable.
3. Here's my idea for resolving he conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
