What is an mp3 player polarity, & help with hooking up an MP3 player to my car.... ?
i just bought a hookup for my car to play my mp3 player in it. it's the kinda that you plug into the cigarette lighter, because i don't have a tape player. on the hookup, it says you have to switch it to match the polarity number for your mp3 player. i have NO idea what this means, and i couldn't find it in the manual. I cannot get the hookup to play my mp3 player, and when i plug it into the mp3 player, it shuts off sometimes. i need help please ???
