Today I finally got around to watching the "Desert Punk" DVDs I bought. I had never even heard of the series, but the box made them out to look fun and as I was only buying the first two volumes at a discounted price I decided to try it. So far I'm really enjoying it. It has a perverted, but hilarious main character. Also it handles its boobies in such a way that's not like " oooooh a high school girl is showing you her panties. Ooooooh now for some underage boobies-a-jiggling." Even though Sunabouzu repeatedly goes into boob-rants. Also its humor and guns make it an entertaining show.
Also like that it isn't a harem (as far as I can tell, thank heavens). He likes women... no one reciprocates XD

Can anyone reccomend a similar show? Note: I equally like yuri and straight. I hate mecha.

Needless would be by far the closest, Bake isn't that action-y and had a dark sense of humour (but still super awesome), Rosy and HSTOD have more "oh look boobs" ecchi. Toppa Tengen Gurran Lagann would also fit but its mecha.
